Living most of my years in the west leaves me not so familiar with tornadoes.  I think I need to read a book or ask a few locals about them…does everyone run and hide in a closet with a matchbook and a blanket when the weather service issues a tornado warning? or do they just ignore it and chalk it up to chance?  It doesn’t seem like anyone really pays attention…but when my wonderful mac dashboard weather radar widget beeps at me and flashes a red tornado watch warning… and it’s hailing outside with nonstop lightning flashes and thunder… I think to myself… should I now be bunkering down somewhere instead of working in Final Cut Pro or writing this blog?
