I was brought a tear by this message on his website. Written by Larry in his final days on earth.
“I’d like to push back the darkness with my bravest effort. There will be a funeral posted here on the website, in case some of you want to attend. We are not sure of the date when I will die. Goodbye, farewell, we will meet again. Goodbye, farewell, we’ll meet again Somewhere beyond the sky. I pray that you will stay with God Goodbye, my friends, goodbye.”

OK Here is a response. I was clicking thru all these videos of people like you who bare their lives and thoughts in words and video on blogs. This is an entirely new world to me. Video blogging. I am not quite sure what the attraction is to watch other peoples lives when it is more interesting to live our own and interact with live people not video images.
Anyway, I came across your site and this posting about the death of Larry Norman with “no responses”. I did not know who he was but felt an obligation to find out as he touched your life, he must have touched others. So out of repsect for his life I decided to find out who he was. He was a musician, singer and producer who walked every day of his life living what he believed in. He touched many people thru his conviction and his music. He believed in Jesus so I am sure I know where he is. Here we go…John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Here is the rest that people don’t usually quote. This is cool. John 3:17- “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world thru Him might be saved”. Larry was saved and is with God without a doubt. There is comfort in that. I am gald I now know who he was.
So what is the Blacknail Blog and why do you do this? I mean no disrespect. I am curious.
