Back when I had long hair I covered a tune by ‘Our Lady Peace’ entitled “4am.” Their label launched a contest sparked by the popularity of YouTube. Best OLP cover wins… I don’t even remember… a pat on the back, free ipods… free guitar signed by the band, i think. Anyway… they NEVER picked a winner and just went on like nothing ever happened. I thought it was kind of funny, the people with the worst covers I’ve ever heard complained the loudest on YouTube about there never being a winner. And by the end people were cussing out OLP and saying they now hated them because of this. Some people get so bent out of shape over the lamest things. I still love OLP. Raine has gone off on his own promoting a solo album, which I think is great. check out his solo stuff HERE. And for me, I’ll get a new cover up on YouTube soon, just for kicks… until then, give this one a little more mileage. Thank you.
