This is a sad excuse for a blog. Tomorrow is the last day of work.
Thank God in heaven.
This is a blog post.
I am tired.
The end.
Atlanta was fairly calm and inviting this evening.
We completed a full day of travel and a bit of work then headed out for a bite to eat at an Irish pub. Afterwards we went to a great little pub in Decatur called ‘The Brick Store’ the boys had a few rounds of brew and I tried one of my own. It was “decent” but I couldn’t finish it; never can when it comes to beer. I just can’t get into it.
Red wine, please.
It was great to sit around, share laughs, stories and just plain be stupid without a concern.
Refreshing.
What was overly stupid, as I was paying my tab at the bar, some crazy drunk chick grabbed a full handful or two of my lower back-end and told me I had a “great ass.”
“Uhh… Thanks.”
Tomorrow we start bright and early and work all day. It’s been said that I will meet a Michael Jackson impersonator and a Cosby kid. Who can say that for a cold day in January, or any day for that matter.
Goodnight, readers and non-sleepers.

Day, n. A period of twenty-four hours, mostly misspent.
It’s late.
It’s early.
I just mixed myself a nightcap and sat down in front of NPT (Nashville Public Television) to disconnect before sleep. I am completely entranced with this weeks episode of ‘NOVA’. It is entitled “The Incredible Journey of the Butterflies”. I won’t take the time to describe everything I’m seeing – just know that I’m amazed and you should watch the beginning of this at some point. The delicacy of their birth, transformation and journey is unreal.
As I watch the struggle I can’t help but parallel it to mine own story – journey.
Speaking of journey, I’m headed down to Atlanta for about a week to take in (read: overexert) a bit of work. Should be interesting, I’m sure I’ll blog about it as it occurs.
Goodnight readership.
Rough go today.
Ended well.
Dinner with the boys.

I don’t care that he threw an interception that some may say cost the game.
This man has more determination, passion, drive and heart in his pinky toe than most people have in their entire existence.
We should all learn from this man and how he lives/loves life.
Congrats, Mr. Favre.
You have my admiration.
Did you ever stop to think,
and forget to start again?

This evening Conan O’Brien said goodbye after just 7 months as the host of ‘The Tonight Show’. His farewell address was honest and from the heart. It made my eyes well up.
Encouraging, inspiring…
Moving.
